Elections 2010
Welcome to the University of Lincoln Students’ Union Elections Page 2010. Here you will find information about the  forthcoming Elections, and details on how to vote.

Thinking of running  for office? - There are four Sabbatical Officer positions, and nine Student Officer positions available.

Sabbatical Officers are full time paid positions. If successfully elected, you would begin your role in June 2010 for 12 months. As this is a full time role, unless you are in your final year of study, you would need to consider whether you’d be prepared to take a break from your course for one year.

The four Sabbatical Officer Positions are:-

  • President
  • Vice President Activities
  • Vice President Academic Affairs
  • Vice President Welfare & Diversity

Student Officer  positions are voluntary and are unpaid. They allow you the opportunity to get involved with the Students’ Union and represent your fellow students, whilst continuing your studies.

The nine Student Officer Positions are:-

  • Sports Officer
  • Societies Officer
  • Events Officer
  • RAG Officer
  • Liberation Officer
  • Campaigns Officer
  • Riseholme Officer
  • Hull Officer
  • Holbeach Officer

Further details about each of these positions, along with detailed role descriptions and information packs on how to run in the elections will be available here from Monday 8th February 2010.

In the meantime, if you do have any questions about the SU Elections, or if you would like to speak to one of the current officers about their role, please contact us:-
