Disabled Students Group, or ‘DSG’ as we prefer is a group of students that share the same belief - to help disabled people, whether on the University campus or elsewhere. Many of our members have a disability but we welcome those who don’t. We run campaigns and petitions on subjects that aim to make life a bit easier for those who are disabled. We also try to make others aware of all the different kinds of disabilities whether they are obvious, like cerebral palsy or hidden like endometriosis and dyslexia. We hold social events and generally have fun!
Meetings are held bi- weekly, every Wednesday in the Hub at 7pm - that's upstairs in the Tower Bar, unless there is an event or social in which case you will be informed of any changes, through the Facebook group. You are welcome to come to all the meetings, just one or none at all. We keep everyone updated via the Facebook group, and if you send us your email we can send you the minutes of the meetings to keep you updated on what we are doing.
